Rick Genest also known as 'Zombie Boy' goes under cover with Dermablend

I'm currently using the 'Yves Saint Laurent' (YSL) Concealer, which i'm absolutely in love with...However, after watching the youtube video 'Go beyond the cover', where Rick Genest, commonly known as Zombie Boy goes under cover with Dermablend concealer, i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to try out this brand...

Zombie Boy was a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when he was a kid and wanted to be a ninja turtle and live in the sewers, however, as he got older, he fell in love with zombies and wanted to become one, he knew that the only and closest way in becoming one is getting a tattoo like one. "My tattoos symbolize life through death, or death through life."

The make up brand 'Dermablend' was founded by an Amercian dermatologist and has been known as the experts in coverage cosmetics since 1981. It has also been classed as the #1 recommended coverage brand in USA.

Zombie Boy stars in a campaign for Dermablend concealer, where Dermablend's make up artists covers up his tattoos and brings back his looks, before he had the skeleton tattoos.
Here are some pictures below....

Crazy right??!

Would you recognise Zombie Boy without his trademark skeletal tattoos?...

Sooooo guys and girls, ever got a tattoo that you really regretted?!... and don't really want to go under laser to get it removed?!...you can now purchase a Dermablend concealer =D

Hope you've enjoyed x

Crème de la Mer face cream

This review is totally based on my opinion!...

Crème de la Mer face cream….I’ve heard so much about this ‘amazing/very expensive’ cream and I’ve always been curious about it… 1 month ago, I went shopping with a friend, and I passed the Crème de la Mer counter, so thought I’d check the cream out, first opinion when I touched it was ‘woahhhh this cream is sooo thick’… got talkin with the sales lady and she was really nice and gave me a sample to try it out….The sample tub she gave me was small, but its lasted me for more than a month now, and I still have like 1/3 of it left….
The story behind this cream is also very touching…well I found it touching….but basically…
The creator of Crème de la Mer was a man named ‘Dr. Max Huber’; he was an aerospace physicist for NASA. During a lab experiment, he suffered severe chemical burns on his face. Dr Huber couldn’t find any products that were on the market to help heal his burns, so he decided to invent one….it took him 12 years and nearly over 6,000 experiments before Crème de la Mer was invented.

Soooo…when I heard this story, I was like woahhh this cream can help to heal burns?!sounded kinda crazy to me…I also heard that famous celebrities like Beyonce and Kate Moss uses this product….but hey, there rich…they can afford it…

Prices for this cream is like

·         30ml - £95

·         60ml - £180

·         250ml - £600

·         500ml - £1150

Apparently in order for this cream to work its wonders, there's a special technique you got to do...

The quote "Apply day and night for a lifetime"...made me laugh!!!whaaaat...lifetime?!!...are u bein seriouuuusss??!!!!imagine the amount of money you'd be spending, on JUST a moisturising cream =S

But yeh, my personal opinion...the cream did kinda work for me, my skin has gone a bit smoother and more hydrated and brighter, but i'm not sure whether i'd pay £95 for a tub of 30ml cream though...there's soooo many different brands out there, i'd prefer to spend the £95 on finding the 'right' moisturising cream for me...

Lace Nails

I've been in love with this beautiful nail trend that I've been eyeing up for ages now, but i've been soooooo busy lately with assignments and reports, that i've had no time to blog about it...

The thing i love most about this design, is you can creative and personalise it the way YOU want =) you can choose what ever nail polish of your choice, the colour/pattern of lace of your choice, alter the style and many more...

Thing you need to achieve this amazing look:

  • Base coat (clear nail polish)
  • Nail colour of your choice
  • lace material
  • Scissors
  • Top coat (clear nail polish)
  • tweezers
Instructions:
  1. place the pieces of laces over your finger, measure how and were you want to place it, and cut the section of lace.
  2. apply a base coat on to your nail and allow it to dry
  3. once the base coat has dried, apply the nail polish of your colour on to the nail, and then immediately place the lace on top (which you have previously cut into shape) letting the lace stick and dry with the nail polish
  4. use the tweezer to adjust the lace on your nail and press firmly
  5. Apply at least 2/3 sets of the top coat on your nail, this allows a thick glossy finish

Hope you've enjoyed and good luck =) x
