The Newspaper Nail Design

Absolutely loving this nail design...Its soooo easy to achieve aswell.

First of all, you would need:

• A pair of scissors to cut out pieces of the newspaper
• Newspaper (does not necessarily have to be newspapers, could be bits from a text book or comic strips)
• Base coat
• Light coloured nail varnish
• Rubbing alcohol
• Top coat nail varnish

Step 1: 

Apply the base coat on your nail (this would help to protect your natural nails)

Step 2:

Make sure your nails are completely dry, then paint your nails with a light coloured nail varnish (i suggest a light coloured nail varnish, so the letter appear more visible) 

Step 3: 

Wait until the nail polish is dry, then pour some of the Rubbing alcohol into a small container or tub, and dip your nail into it.

Step 4:

Taking the pieces of newspaper (or comic strips) press it onto your nail firmly for about 10-15 seconds, then slowly peel it off

Step 5:

Then apply a top coat of clear nail varnish (this would help to prevent the newspaper words from rubbing off or smugging, and would also provide shine to the nail.
